Institution that referred the victim to the MICU Foundation

139 cases come from ANITP Brașov, representing 89% of the total. This figure highlights the importance of ANITP as the main referral point in the support network.

On the other hand, IOM Romania contributed 12 cases, equivalent to 8% of the total, underlining the relevance of its participation in the victim assistance process.

In addition, the group of "Other Organizations" reported a total of 6 cases, representing 4% of the total, which includes entities such as ADPARE and BCCO Brașov, each with 2 cases, as well as IGI Brașov and People2People Oradea, with 1 case each.

Although these figures are lower compared to ANITP and IOM, their inclusion is fundamental, as each organization contributes to the diversity of resources and support offered to victims.

In addition, 7% (8 people) of the victims had a minimum wage, and 5% (6 people) had occasional income.

These data highlight the financial difficulties faced by these individuals and suggest that the lack of stable income may contribute to their exposure to the risks of human trafficking, thus underscoring the importance of social and economic interventions to support these victims in the recovery and reintegration process.

72% reported having professional experience in various fields, suggesting that some of the victims had previous work opportunities.

On the other hand, 28% (24 people) had no professional experience, which may make them more vulnerable to exploitation.

Of the victims assisted, 61% are women, while 39% are men.

These data highlight the predominance of women among victims of human trafficking, suggesting that this group is more vulnerable to exploitation.

Victim's age

Of the 142 victims, the largest proportion is represented by people aged between 26 and 33, who make up 32% (46 cases) of the total.
